What can I say about music?
It's all good!
My favorites tend to be older country or songs that tell a story. But I play for the client & their guests.
That means I can listen to my faves at home unless of course someone happens to request one of them!

Every client is concerned about what music I have available.
It's really the least worry they should have.  I have a vast music library!
Music is what can make or break any event.
How it's presented is also very important.
I don't take breaks, always continuous music.  Unless I'm making announcements or doing a drawing of some kind of course.
Music is always played at the appropriate volume level for the moment.
I have virtually all the classics that could ever be requested.
I subscribe to a music service that provides the very latest radio edited hits in the most popular formats so that the client doesn't need to worry about offensive lyrics!  They are the same songs played on every radio station.
Texas Country Music is very popular right now and I make every effort to have what is going to be requested by these artists whenever possible.
I use Itunes to aquire anything my clients want that I don't already have and that's where the advance request option works so beautifully.

When you make the wise decision to go with "On Track Entertainment" you choose Professional Mixing of one song into another and not just a Slam Dunk or the more common "Dead Air"  between songs...we know when to play 2 steps, waltzes, ballads, slow songs, jitterbugs and jives, plus we can cover your polkas, big band dances & cumbias while making your special announcements whenever necessary!
And let's not forget the line dancing!  I have all of them.
Electric Slide
Cha Cha Slide
Cupid Shuffle
Crank Dat Supaman
Bird Walk (Soulja Boys new song)
Macarena
and of course we always have ready to go all that fun stuff like
Chicken Dance
Hokey Pokey
Shout
YMCA
Twist
Cotton Eyed Joe
Conga
Bust a Move

I'm proud of my success rate at playing requests.  When the client uses the advance request list, I make every effort to play everything listed that I can,  while mixing in any instant guest requests on the fly. Periodically, I may choose to play a few or more songs that I pick myself that I feel would fit perfectly into a set in order to keep the dance floor hopping!

I got to meet George Strait & Clay Walker when they did a show at Ector County Coliseum.  The photograph with George was on his bus which had baby blue leather chairs!

In 1993 KGEE won the CMA Award for Small Market Station of the Year!  I had just been hired and Tommy Vascacu had come back from Nashville with the crystal trophy, so I took the liberty of holding that baby in the lobby of KGEE.
